Lip tints are a must have for me. I found these on Amazon for a steal! Three of these lip tints were only $9, whereas Urban Outfitters retail price of $6 each. It comes with 01 Cherry Pink, 02 Red, and 03 Orange Chacha. These lip tints have a jelly like consistency and isn’t watery compared to the Benetint lip and cheek stains, which I prefer.
The lip tints have a doe foot applicator, which makes the application process easier. With this applicator, you do pick up a lot of product, so I recommend wiping the excess off on the rims on the tube. Also, you will need a mirror, because these lip tints are DANGEROUS despite its cute packaging. It will stain anything it comes into contact with. The thing I noticed about this product is that you want to finish coloring your lips before it sets or else there will be an uneven coating (lip swatches below). But with one swipe, it gives a very nice tint to the lips. Because I like my lip color to be subtle and kind of natural, I would usually wipe off the first layer so that it wouldn’t be as pigmented.
When I wiped it off, this is how it looked like:
I really wanted to put it to the test, so I used Neutrogena Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover and here’s the result:
As you can see, it still stained my skin. If you have read my other blog post, the Nooni review, you would know that even after using an oil cleansing stick, the stain was still there.
I really like this lip tint, and it works well as a gradient lip. These tints hold up very well and are usually on my lips after I eat or workout. It smells sweet but isn’t overpowering. However, if you have dry lips, the tint will settle into the cracks of your lips. Additionally, I have noticed that touch ups are required after 5+ hours of wearing them. But other then that, I really thing these lip tints are a bang for your buck! They’re super affordable and work as well or even better than some tints on the market.
