Swisspure Wet Powder Cream Pact (Little Prince Edition)

Cushion compacts are really well known in KBeauty, so when I heard about this cream pact, I was so intrigued. The cream pact I got is from Swisspure Wet Powder Cream Pact in the Little Prince Edition which was sent to me by BBCosmetics (thank you again, Elle!). I’m not familiar with Swisspure, but I’d thought it’ll be a great first impression on the brand and the product.

The packaging is based on the children’s book, The Little Prince, and is super cute! You can even pop it out and refill it (convenient huh?). Thiscompact contains 18g of product, has SPF 32 and PA++, retails for $22.74 on BBcosmetics, and it claims to be “long lasting, comfortable on the skin, and create a sleek, smooth finish effect.”

This cream pact comes in two shades, #1 Natural Beige and #2 Neutral Beige. The one that I got was the shade #2 Neutral Beige. I’m a NC 25-30, and this was a light on the skin so I had to work around it. The puff itself is a bit denser than my Memebox I’m Puffwhich makes sense because it’s made for a cream-powder foundation.

The instructions says to use it in small increments and let me tell you, listen to that! When I first applied this, I did not do it in small increments and it looked cakey. With this type of product, you want to gradually add it on- slowly. It feels weird at first, since it turns the cream into powder as you pat with the puff, but it does give a nice matte finish.

So I have a LOT of redness, and I wanted to see if I’ll be able to cover it up without any concealer. If you look to the left, you can see how red and oily I was. For this review, I did not use any primer to fill in my pores or reduce the shine. Just looking at the pictures, you can see that this compact gives a sheer and light coverage. It does reduce my redness and shine, but not drastically since it’s a lighter coverage. Some of my imperfections are still peeking through, but I’m completely fine with it since it’s a look that I’ve been loving for summer- the my skin but better! It feels very light, but can appear patchy throughout the day since it does hang onto the dry areas of my skin especially around my nose. It also gives a very noticeable white cast due to the SPF.

Overall thoughts?

I’ve been using this product for about two weeks now, and I have like and dislike the formula at the same time. Personally, I like a hydrated foundation since my skin is dry. This cc cream, since it’s matte, it makes my skin feel pretty dry. The way that I like using it is using a hydrating primer then applying it. It gives an effortless look and makes your skin look smoother and less oily. I would not recommend this to people with dry skin, but oily skin guys and gals with a lighter skin tone than me, I really think that you would like this product. It seriously gets rid of the shine!

Again, this product was sent to me for reviewing purposes by BBCosmetics, but my opinions will always be 100% honest ✌🏼
